This is a quick and easy healthy and yummy breakfast. As usual, my recipes are designed for the busy single person so just increase quantities as needed.
1/3 washed quinoa
2/2 cup water
Boil then simmer these two together until they quinoa is transparent. Add small amounts of extra water if needed.
4-5 large strawberries sliced
1/8 cup of rose water
1 tsp of maple syrup
dash of vanilla
Cinnamon to sprinkle
Again quickly boil and then simmer all of the ingredients except the cinnamon. Once the quinoa is cooked add 3/4 of this mixture to the quinoa and gently fold into it until the quinoa changes colour. Serve and top with the remaining strawberry mixture and sprinkle with cinnamon.
